The NYEP offers a two-week immersive experience in New York City’s dynamic industries, providing participants with valuable insights into the city’s professional and cultural landscape. The tentative agenda for the upcoming NYEP includes exploring NYC for the first week, followed by a few days in Washington DC to experience its political and cultural scene, and then returning to NYC for the remaining days, totaling 15 days of immersion.
The program will span two weeks with 2-3 activities/visits each day which typically follow an 8-hour schedule, starting with the group meeting at the hotel lobby at 10 am and returning from Manhattan at 4 pm. However, the schedule may vary depending on planned activities.
Programs start and end on Saturdays. After hotel check-in and settling in, the next day includes a welcoming briefing and a quick trip to Manhattan.
In the first week, the program will focus on local communities in NYC, with professional visits to provide a deeper understanding of the city’s dynamics. Saturdays will be free days for participants to explore the city on their own.
Participants will take a bus trip together to Washington DC, where they will gain insights into US history and the federal government.
Participants will return to NYC to continue their industrial visits, followed by an end-of-session event that includes watching a baseball game together at Citi Field tentatively on Thursday. On Saturday, participants will check out and travel to the airport together.
