Congresswoman Grace Meng is a dedicated Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives, representing New York's 6th congressional district. Her commitment to advocacy for her constituents makes her an inspiration to young individuals like Daphne and Mitra.
Daphne interned during the summer of 2023, while Mitra had his internship during the winter of the same year. Both seized the opportunity to explore the intricacies of the United States federal system and broaden their horizons.
During their internships, Daphne and Mitra played vital roles in building relationships with constituents, understanding their concerns, and bridging the gap between constituents and federal institutions.
