Fusia's J-1 exchange intern Liya embarked on a memorable trip to Maine with friends and their families. As they drove from Somerville to Ogunquit, they stopped at Fort Williams Park and a stunning beach, whose name they couldn't recall. Along the way, they toured the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where Liya’s friend studies plastic engineering. Liya, a materials science and engineering student herself, was thrilled to see many of the university's facilities in person which she found relevant to her studies in Singapore. The trip was also a culinary delight, with a traditional fried seafood lunch, followed by a flavorful dinner featuring Spanish seafood paella and classic lobster rolls.
