Summer’s Farewell, Winter’s Welcome

Velu, the final intern from the 2023 CCIP NYC summer-end program, bid farewell in December. At the same time, JZ, from the same school, transitioned to the winter group alongside other CCIP winter students. They organized a farewell dinner at Morton Great Neck for Velu, showcasing their solidarity and friendship. Following the dinner, they escorted Velu to the airport, symbolizing the bonds formed during their time together in the program and underscoring the strong sense of community within CCIP. At the same time, Bruce from the NYEP group arrived early to join in the New Year’s Eve celebration with JZ.
