On January 30th, 2022, six friends, Elvis, William, Seth, Zili, Seah, and Chang Jing, gathered in their apartment to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a hotpot party. The group had prepared a delicious spread of meats, vegetables, and noodles, which they cooked in a simmering pot of flavorful broth at the center of the table. They enjoyed a fun and festive evening, sharing stories and catching up on each other’s lives. The hotpot was a hit, with everyone enjoying the various flavors and ingredients. The group also exchanged red envelopes filled with lucky money, a traditional Chinese New Year practice. It was a memorable night filled with laughter, good food, and great company. The friends bid farewell to the Year of the Tiger and welcomed the Year of the Rabbit with open arms.
