Arrival at JFK Airport
As participants embark on their journey, they will touch down at JFK Airport, a renowned transportation hub renowned for its bustling activity and international significance. Serving as a vital gateway for global travel, JFK Airport welcomes visitors from around the world to the United States.
Upon arrival at JFK Airport, participants should have their passports readily available and proceed to the non-citizen line at customs. The customs process will include an interview conducted by a CBP officer, as well as fingerprinting. FUSIA staff members will be waiting just outside of customs to assist participants. Once all participants have arrived, shuttle vans will be provided to transport them to the designated hotel.

Orientation and Community Board 7
The first day of the program will start with a combined orientation session and presentation by representatives from Community Board 7 (CB7), the largest community board in New York City known for its diverse representation across various industries.
During the orientation, participants will receive an overview of the upcoming visits and the two-week agenda, along with important reminders. This will be followed by a presentation delivered by CB7 representatives and special guests, providing valuable insights into the board, its district, and specific topics of interest. After the presentation, there will be a break, providing networking opportunities.

The United Nations Guided Tour
The United Nations (UN), founded in 1945, is a global organization dedicated to promoting peace, security, and cooperation among nations. With its headquarters situated in New York City, the UN’s iconic building in Manhattan is a notable landmark. Visiting the UN offers a unique and unforgettable experience, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the UN's work and its significance.
Participants will attend a one-hour guided tour at the UN Headquarters. After obtaining the passes and wristbands, participants should proceed to the UN Visitors Entrance at 46th Street and 1st Avenue for security screening before entering the premises.

Participants will visit the memorial at the site where the Twin Towers once stood, learning about the stories of those who lost their lives and those who survived.

Aithent is an information technology company based in Manhattan’s Financial District. Students met with an Aithent executive and learned about the company’s core business, IT development, and potential career paths in the field.

During the visit, Mr. Yu will deliver a presentation on Aithent, covering various topics including technical solutions, emerging data security trends, and more. An Immersive Tour of the Financial Heartbeat

Exploring the Artistic Wonders of Lincoln Center

The Society of Voice Arts and Sciences™ (SOVAS) is a non-profit organization that connects voice actors to sources of training, education, mentoring, and employment. Paramount in this effort is to always ensure diversity, equality, and inclusion, at all levels of its founding.

Exploring Hudson Yards and The High Line Tour
Hudson Yards is a vibrant city within a city, featuring towering skyscrapers, luxurious residences, high-end shopping, and a diverse range of dining and entertainment options. City Climb is an exhilarating urban adventure, offering visitors a thrilling experience as they scale the heights of iconic buildings and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline.
After visiting GC Eng, the participants will explore nearby famous attractions, ranging from Hudson Yards to the High Line, including a detour via City Climb. The entire walking trail will take approximately 20 minutes. Following a group photo session at the High Line, the group will return to the hotel. If anyone wishes to continue exploring, they are welcome to stay longer.

Visiting DC from NYC by Amtrak
Participants will visit Washington DC by taking the AMTRAK from Penn Station. Penn Station is the busiest transportation facility in the West and serves over 600,000 passengers a weekday.
Participants will take the midnight train to DC. They will check out and leave their luggage with the receptionist and then three vans will pick them up for shuttle to Penn Station. Staff will collect group tickets while participants wait for the train.

National Air and Space Museum
Opened on July 1, 1976, with a memorable ribbon-cutting ceremony activated by the Viking 1 signal, the National Air and Space Museum captivates visitors with its extensive collection of aircraft, spacecraft, artifacts, and interactive exhibits. It offers a fascinating journey through the history of flight and our exploration of the cosmos.
Participants will gather as a group to enter the museum together. Upon entering the building, the group will be dismissed and participants can explore the museum at their own pace. A short briefing will be provided to provide necessary information. Students have the option to stay at the museum until closing time or leave early to visit other places of interest. Participants are responsible for their own return to the hotel.

US Capitol Visitor Center Guided Tour
The US Capitol Visitor Center is a must-visit spot in Washington DC. It offers a wealth of information about the history and function of the US Congress, with exhibits and interactive displays covering topics such as the legislative process and the Capitol's art and architecture. Guided tours of the Capitol building are also available, including a visit to the Rotunda to see the famous Apotheosis of Washington fresco. A visit to the US Capitol Visitor Center is a great opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the workings of the US government.
The US CVC opened in 2008 and is a large underground addition to the US Capitol complex. The CVC is a gathering point for up to 4,000 tourists and contains meeting and conference rooms for Congress.

The Department of the Interior, located in Washington, D.C., serves as the steward of America's natural and cultural resources. As a federal agency responsible for managing public lands, wildlife conservation, and Native American affairs, the Department plays a vital role in protecting and preserving the nation's diverse landscapes and heritage.
Participants will be met by their guide in the Museum, just beyond the Visitor Processing Center. The guided walking tour, lasting about an hour, highlights the building's history and the Department's heritage, showcasing over 40 New Deal-era painted murals and photographic murals by Ansel Adams, allowing participants to explore the exhibitions at their leisure.

Insights at the Queens Borough Hall
The Queens Borough President is an elected official who serves as the chief executive of Queens Borough, one of the five boroughs of New York City. The current Queens Borough President is Donovan Richards, Jr. Donovan Richards Jr., a lifelong resident of Southeast Queens, was elected Borough President in November 2020 and sworn in one month later. As a child, he attended Jamaica High School and Redemption Christian Academy before studying communications, radio, and TV at Nyack College. He later received a degree in Aviation Management from Vaughn College in East Elmhurst.
Queens Borough Hall was built in 1940 and was Queens County's first dedicated Borough Hall, symbolizing the growth of Queens to an urban center. Participants will pay a small team of Queens Borough President Office Directors to learn about what the district have accomplished.

Home Run: Citi Field
Citi Field is a modern and state-of-the-art ballpark located in Flushing, Queens, New York. It is the home of the New York Mets baseball team, and it opened in 2009 to replace the iconic Shea Stadium. Citi Field is known for its wide range of amenities, including a variety of food and beverage options, a family entertainment area, and several seating options to suit every preference.

Inside the Flushing Bank
